Week 7 UX Twitter (X)
For this week, I will be evaluating Twitter. Twitter, also known as X, is a social media website that users can use to share their thoughts, pictures, videos, and more.
Task: To use Twitter
1. User control and freedom
Severity Ranking: 0
Users have control over their timeline, interactions, and profile settings. They can choose who to follow, mute, or block.
2. Error prevention
Severity Ranking: 2
Twitter provides error messages for actions like exceeding character limits. However, it could improve in guiding users to avoid violations of community guidelines or inappropriate content.
3. Flexibility and efficiency of use
Severity Ranking: 0
Twitter is easy to use for both new and experienced users. New users can easily tweet, retweet, and like content, while experts can use advanced features like lists, advanced search, and Twitter Analytics.
4. Aesthetic and minimalist design:
Severity Ranking: 0
Twitter's design is minimalist, with a focus on text-based content. The colors remain the same as you navigate the app.
5. Help and documentation:
Severity Ranking: 2
Twitter offers help resources, including a Help Center and community guidelines. However, access to live support or detailed documentation can be difficult.
