Instagram provides access to the menu icon at all times. This allows users to quickly and easily switch between pages.

2. Match between system and the real world

    Severity Ranking: 0

Instagram uses easy to understand language through out the whole app. It is easy to figure out what each thing means as they use simple terminology. For example, to post, it'll say the word post which is easy for users to figure out.

3.  Error Prevention

    Severity Ranking: 0

Instagram does good with allowing error prevention. When deleting something, a warning box pops up which allows users to decide if they actually meant to do that action or not.

4. Consistency and Standards

    Severity Ranking: 0

Instagram remains consistent through out the app. It uses the same icons on all the pages which  prevents confusion. This is seen with the menu icon at the bottom of the screen the whole time on the app.

5.  Aesthetic and Minimalist Design

    Severity Ranking:0

Instagram does a good job with maintaining a simplistic design that is easy to follow. No matter what  page you are on that is seen and no page appears congested. Also, the colors match the theme of the app and also the theme the user has their phone set too.  For example, if you are on dark mode, the app will also appear on dark mode.
